UPPSC Civil Judge Recruitment Selection Process

A candidate who wishes to become a Civil Judge in Uttar Pradesh in the junior division needs to go through three stages of the selection procedure: Preliminary Exams, Mains, and then the interview round. This is a two-stage preliminary exam, candidates who pass this stage are applicable for the mains, and those who crack the mains make it to the personal interview.

The first stage preliminary exam is an objective type examination for 200 marks and the time duration given for the test is 2 hours. As the applicant makes it to the next round the Mains is conducted for 300 marks and the time duration is only 2 hours. Only 10% of the total applicants make it to the interview round and some 30% get selected after the interview.
